Maggie Hostetter

MS, RDN, LDN | Sports Nutrition and Eating Disorder Dietitian

Maggie is a recently credentialed Registered Dietitian specializing in sports nutrition and eating disorders. She holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate studies in Exercise and Sport Science and Virginia Tech for her graduate studies in Nutrition and Dietetics. Maggie embraces a non-diet approach to nutrition, aligning her practice with Health at Every Size (HAES) principles. She advocates that all foods can fit to nourish our bodies, grounding her practice in evidence-based methodologies and a client-centered approach.

Her passion for sports nutrition stems from her personal journey as a former competitive swimmer and triathlete growing up. With six years of experience working alongside collegiate athletes at the Division 1 level at UNC Chapel Hill and Virginia Tech, Maggie has played pivotal roles both on the sidelines and behind the scenes, ensuring athletes are optimally fueled for success.

Additionally, Maggie has worked extensively with eating disorder patients in treatment facilities, providing support for individuals and family members dealing with anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder (BED), orthorexia, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED). She is dedicated to empowering clients and parents with the knowledge and tools to overcome eating disorders and nourish their bodies, whether on the field, court, pool, track, or in everyday life.

In her leisure time, Maggie finds joy in hiking with her puppy, practicing pilates and yoga, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, indulging in podcasts and audiobooks, and unwinding with loved ones.
